Economic and Financial Studies and Research Center (EFSRC)

The Center for Economic and Financial Studies and Research was established by a decision of the President of the University of Sana’a. The university aims, through the center, to encourage specialized scientific research in the economic and financial fields and to provide the community, state institutions, and both the public and private sectors with specialized scientific and professional cadres through the academic and training programs offered by the center, as well as providing studies and specialized technical consultations to various state agencies and public and mixed institutions.
Location of the Center:
The Center for Economic and Financial Studies is located on the campus of the University of Sana’a (in the Research Centers Complex) between the university presidency building and the faculty housing.

Contributing to the development of knowledge in the economic and financial fields to meet the needs of decision-makers in public and private civil society institutions, addressing economic and financial problems, and enhancing the scientific and professional capacities of individuals in the community.

Enhance Research Knowledge:Develop research and practical knowledge among researchers and those interested in the economic and financial fields through specialized programs.
Conduct Applied Studies:Carry out applied and field economic and financial research to connect the esteemed University of Sana’a with the community and contribute to solving societal problems.
Provide Expertise and Consultations:Offer economic and financial expertise and consultations to private projects, government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and civil society institutions.
Deliver Training Programs: Provide specialized training programs in the economic and financial fields related to enhancing economic and financial performance to build specialized technical capacities and skills.
Engage in Discussions: Participate in proposing and discussing contemporary economic and financial issues through discussion forums and conferences.
Encourage Scientific Publication: Promote scientific publishing through books, journals, and publications issued by the center and other research institutions.

Additionally, to enhance the efficiency of employees in state institutions and both the public and private sectors by contributing to in-service training and preparation programs.
