Scientific Seminar Discusses Ph.D. Dissertation Proposal in Accounting by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Nusairi

Economic and Financial Studies and Research Center (EFSRC) at Sana’a University held a public scientific seminar to discuss a Ph.D. dissertation proposal in Accounting submitted by Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Aydh Al-Nusairi.
The research proposal is titled: “A Proposed Framework for the Role of External Auditing in Achieving Sustainable Development through Internal Control (COBIT) in Economic Units: A Field Study from the Perspective of Auditors at the Central Organization for Control and Auditing.”
During the session, the candidate delivered a comprehensive presentation on his research plan, detailing the thesis title, the research problem, the methodology, the primary and secondary objectives, as well as the materials and procedures he will utilize to conduct his scientific study.
Following the presentation, faculty members discussed the thesis title and research proposal from their scholarly perspectives. They provided necessary feedback, observations, and recommendations to refine the research plan and ensure the successful attainment of the study’s desired outcomes.
The seminar concluded with the official approval of the proposal, along with key guidelines recommended for integration during the execution of the research.
The session was chaired by Dr. Manaf Al-Dailami, Director of the Center and Master’s Student Advisor. The seminar was attended by Dr. Hameed Miswak, the Ph.D. Dissertation Advisor; Dr. Mohsen, Member of the Academic Integrity Committee; Dr. Abdulghani Douman; Dr. Ahmed Al-Bayadhi; alongside several postgraduate students at the Center.
