Training Workshop Discusses Budget, Strategic Plan, and Future Directions

Today, Faculty of Languages at Sana’a University organized a training workshop that addressed three main themes, as part of the faculty’s efforts to develop its academic and administrative performance and enhance its future plans.
The workshop, presented by Prof. Ali Mohammed Shamlan – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Languages for Quality Affairs, focused on discussing the budgets of Departments and the Faculty to arrive at a proposed general budget. Furthermore, it involved discussing the strategic directions of the Faculty by formulating initial proposals for the vision, mission, and objectives, alongside reviewing the Faculty’s strategic plan and working on preparing a preliminary outline for it.
The workshop was held in the Faculty building with the attendance of the Faculty Dean and his deputies, heads of academic departments, the Faculty secretary, and a number of faculty members and administrative staff. Representatives from the Academic Development Center, namely Dr. Abdulwase Ali Najahi and Dr. Mohammed Al-Baydhi, also participated, in addition to representatives from the labor market and a number of current and graduate students.
This workshop aims to involve various stakeholders in shaping the future plan of the Faculty in a manner that aligns with the requirements of academic quality and the needs of the labor market, and contributes to improving educational outcomes and enhancing the Faculty’s role in serving the community.
