A Seminar for MA Thesis Proposal on Social Expressions in Kitab Al-‘Ayn

The Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Languages – Sana’a University, has approved the Master’s thesis proposal submitted by Ms. Khawthar Mohammed Taher Ateef, titled: “Sociol Expressions in Kitab Al-‘Ayn: Compilation and Study.”

The MA proposal was presented under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Altaf Mohammed Abdullah Al-Fandi.

A seminar session, which included several faculty members such as Assist Prof. Khaled Abdulhalim Al-Absi, Head of the Department, and Assist. Prof. Akram Nasser Nasser Hussein Abdullah, along with a group of specialised academics, reviewed the plan.

During the session, the candidate presented her proposal, outlining the study’s objectives, methodology, and scientific significance. The committee commended the research topic for its potential to enrich linguistic, sociolinguistic, and lexicographical studies, and subsequently approved the plan.

The seminar was attended by a number of postgraduate students and those interested in linguistic issues.
