- Analyze their semantic implications.
- Determine the artistic frameworks and linguistic techniques that characterize this poetic form during the specified period by examining poetic language as employed by a selected group of male and female poets representative of such a period.
The study yielded a number of key findings summarized as follows:
- Structural and rhetorical stylistic phenomena proved effective in articulating poets’ individual visions, demonstrating their ability to capture emotions and sentiments through figurative and expressive techniques that skillfully conveyed both personal and social issues.
- Most instances of repetition were shown to be deliberate and meaningful rather than incidental, aligning with moments of contemplation in the poems and lending renewed energy to performance, sound, and thematic depth.
In light of these findings, the researcher recommended:
- Expanding the scope of research to include various regions of Yemen and conducting historical comparisons with classical literary traditions.
- Compiling a comprehensive lexicon of synonyms and antonyms and establishing a digital database for Yemeni poetic texts.
