Sana’a University’s English Department Hosts Senior Graduation Project Defense Sessions

SANA’A, Yemen – On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the Department of English at the Faculty of Languages, Sana’a University, held its annual senior graduation projects defense sessions. The event, attended by academic leaders and faculty members, marks a primary requirement for students completing their Bachelor of Arts in English.

The student presentations covered a broad spectrum of scholarly topics, including English Literature, Linguistics, Translation, and Cultural Studies. The defense committees noted the advanced academic quality of the research, highlighting the students’ exceptional analytical and investigative capabilities.

Dr. Abbas Abdulmalik Mutahar, Associate Professor and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies, emphasized that these defenses are a cornerstone of the student academic journey.
