– Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence at the College of Sharia and Law. He has also taught at many other colleges and universities with more than 31 years of experience. He has many research papers and participation in international and local conferences.

Education:

– When he was young, Mr. Aljalal moved with his father to Medina in Saudi Arabia, where he began his education, and studied with several Islamic Sheikhs in the Prophet’s Mosque, then joined the mainstream education.

– He joined the College of Sharia in the Islamic University of Madina, Saudi Arabia, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the university  in 1981, with a grade of “excellent” and was ranked first in his class.

– He joined the Department of Graduate Studies in the same university and obtained a Master’s degree in (Usoul Al-Feqeh) in 1985 with a grade of “excellent” with a recommendation to be printed.

– He obtained a Doctorate from the same university with “first class honors” with a recommendation to be printed in 1988.

Experience:

1- He was appointed as a lecturer at the Faculty of Sharia and Law in Sana’a University in September 11, 1989.

2- He was appointed as The Head of the Department of History of Law at the Faculty of Sharia and Law on October 21, 1990.

3- He was appointed as a Vice Dean of the College of Sharia and Law on September 17, 1992.

4- He was appointed as The Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Sana’a University on January 12, 1995.

5- He was reappointed as The Dean of the College on December 5, 1998 until the end of 2001.

6- He was reappointed as The Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Jurisprudence at the College of Sharia and Law on November 13, 2001.

7- He was promoted to Associate Professor on November 28, 1994.

8- He was promoted to Professor on March 15, 2015.

9- He was promoted as The Head of the Academic Committee at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Sana’a University.

10- He was appointed as a member of the Academic Council at Sana’a University.

11- A member of the Sharia Supervisory Board in the Islamic Sukuk Unit in the Central Bank of Yemen.

12- A member of the advisory Board in the Journal of Social Studies at the University of Science and Technology.

Conferences and Workshops:

1- Orphan Festival Conference held in Sana’a on October 13, 2009.

2- Dallah Al-Baraka Symposium in Mecca, Saudi Arabia in 2003.

3- Participated in a research in the symposium of the Islamic Fiqh Council in its twenty-second session, held in 2015.

4- The Conference of the Shariah Bodies of Islamic Financial Institutions, held in Bahrain in May 2008.

1- Studying and scrutinizing “Zawa’id Al-Asoul” by Abd Al-Rahim al-Assani, a printed and published master’s thesis.

2- Disagreement in the fundamental rules related to the semantics of words for comprehensiveness, PhD thesis, which received a recommendation to be printed from the discussion committee.
