A symposium at the College of Science on the harmful effects of chemical and biological pollution on human health
It was held on Sunday 12/22/2024 AD, corresponding to 6/21/1446 AH, in the Prof. Dr. Hall. Thabet Al-Hamidi at the College of Science, a symposium entitled ‘Chemical and biological pollution and its harms to human health’, delivered by Prof. Dr. Maher Al-Maqtari and A.M.D. Ibtisam Al-Hamzi.
Dr. touched on Al-Maqtari discussed the causes of chemical pollution, its sources, and its harm to human health, such as cancer, asthma, etc., and methods for treating these chemical pollutants, as Dr. Al-Maqtari spoke. Al-Hamzi talked about biological pollutants, their harms, dangers, types, sources, methods of transmission, and how to prevent them.
This symposium comes within the framework of a series of seminars held by the Community Service Unit at the college, and was attended by a number of faculty members, teaching assistants, and students at various levels.
