2- Keeping pace with scientific and technical developments in the fields of biological sciences and introducing them into academic programs
3- Providing the student with theories, knowledge, basic and applied scientific skills in life sciences and related sciences that qualify him for scientific research and community service.
4- Providing a suitable research environment for faculty members and graduate students to encourage them to carry out scientific research by establishing and rehabilitating specialized research laboratories, providing modern scientific periodicals, and encouraging them to publish the results of their scientific research locally and globally.
5- Providing scientific consultations, submitting research projects, and organizing workshops and training courses in various fields of biological sciences.
