Community service affairs are considered one of the most important units in the College of Science, which was established by the University President’s Decision No. (162) for the year 1446 AH. Through this unit, you can serve the community internally and externally as it is one of the promising units that connects the university as a scientific beacon with the surrounding community.
Accordingly, the Community Service Unit was established in the various colleges of the university in order to achieve the university’s goal of consolidating the relationship between it and the societal groups that are related to it.

Leadership in serving and empowering society and building cognitive and practical capabilities.

Participating with community institutions to provide scientific and advisory services in the field of basic sciences to the community

  1.  Participate in raising awareness and spreading the culture of partnership and community service.

  2. Organizing distinctive activities and programs to serve the community in various fields at the college and community levels

  3.  Coordinating to conclude agreements and memorandums of understanding in the field of community service with distinguished institutions at the local and regional levels.

  4. Providing the opportunity for institutions working in the areas of community service provision to benefit from the scientific and practical expertise of academic professors

  5. Strengthening partnerships with institutions from the public and private sectors and providing service projects directed at students, faculty and staff at the college.

  6. Contributing to providing pioneering and unique programs in the areas of community service

  7. Consolidating quality assurance practices and rooting the values ​​of quality and accreditation by applying applicable policies, procedures and models.
