Training workshop on publishing scientific research in international journals

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Muhammad Saleh Qasila, the Community Service Affairs Unit held today, Sunday, 7/19/1446 AH, corresponding to 1/19/2025, a workshop entitled “Publishing Scientific Research in International Journals,” delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdo Ahmed Al-Kali, General Supervisor of Journals. Sana’a University, in the hall of the late Thabet Al-Hamidi
In it, he explained that science and knowledge are the basic pillars of the development of societies, and publishing scientific research plays a vital role in transferring that knowledge from laboratories and research centers to the outside world, where it can be applied and benefited from.
The doctor said that this workshop is a valuable opportunity for every researcher and student who seeks to leave his mark in the world of knowledge, and aspires to have a role in enriching the scientific library with his research output.
During this workshop, Al-Kali discussed multiple aspects, starting with choosing the appropriate journal, through how to write the research professionally, all the way to presenting the research and dealing with reviewers’ comments.
Dr. Al-Kali concluded the workshop by saying, “We are confident that this workshop will give you the tools and knowledge necessary to embark on this path with confidence and determination. Dedication to scientific research and publishing is what leads to progress and innovation, and enhances our position in the global scientific community.”
The workshop was attended by some faculty members, postgraduate researchers, and a number of students at different levels
