ملخص

في 1991 حصل الدكتور نبيل علي محمد سلطان على درجة البكالوريوس علوم (رئيسي: كيمياء، فرعي: احياء) بتقدير جيد جدا مع مرتبة الشرف من جامعة صنعاء، ثم التحق بهذة الجامعة كمعيد بكلية العلوم (قسم الكيمياء) في 1993. وفي 1997 بدأ دراسته العليا في كلية الكيمياء، جامعة حيدراباد (www.uohyd.ac.in) حيث حصل على درجتي الماجستير والدكتوراه في 1999 و 2005 على التوالي. أبحاث أطروحة الدكتوراه كانت في مجال تنقية وتوصيف ودراسة بعض اللكتينات النباتية plant lectins.  في 2006 استأنف عملة في جامعة صنعاء (كلية العلوم قسم الكيمياء) كاستاذ مساعد وتمت ترقيته الى أستاذ مشارك في 2012.  امضى تفرغا علميا لمدة عام واحد (2011-2012) كباحث في مركز البيولوجيا الخلوية والجزيئية  (www.ccmb.res.in) بمنحة من الـ TWAS  .
