Executive Master’s Degree Awarded to Mr. Ashraf Al-Rada’i in Public Administration

Mr. Ashraf Abdo Al-Rada’i was awarded an Executive Master’s Degree in Public Administration for his thesis titled: The Impact of Information Technology on Institutional Performance at Al-Thawra Republican Hospital Authority in the Capital Secretariat, Sana’a, which was submitted to the Center of Public Administration – Sana’a University. The MA defense was held on Monday, May 12, 2026.
The MA Viva-voce Committee, which was formed based on a resolution issued by the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Council, consisted of the following:
- Abdulkarim Qasim Al-Sayyaghi Internal Examiner Chair
- Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ja’dabi External Examiner Member
- Ahmed Mohammed Nasser Main Supervisor Member
The study aimed to:
- Examine the impact of information technology components, including hardware and equipment, software, communication networks, databases, and human resources, on institutional performance at Al-Thawra Republican Hospital Authority in the Capital Secretariat.
The researcher recommended the following:
- Maintaining and upgrading technological devices and equipment at Al-Thawra Republican Hospital Authority through allocating budgets for modern technological equipment and developing integrated maintenance plans.
- Continuing to keep pace with software developments that meet beneficiaries’ service requirements and ensuring compatibility with financial, administrative, and medical services.
- Increasing attention to productivity and service delivery at the hospital authority to ensure employees’ commitment to completing tasks with high quality and within the specified timeframes, thereby achieving continuous improvement in institutional performance.
- Preserving operational efficiency within the authority by ensuring employees perform their duties according to set schedules and establishing effective coordination mechanisms with all relevant entities to guarantee continuous development of hospital services.
The defense session was attended by a number of academics, researchers, students, colleagues, and the researcher’s family.
