Workshop Held for Veterinary Medicine Students on Self-Regulated Learning

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organized a training workshop for students across all academic levels titled: “Learn Smart: Academic Success Skills for Veterinary Medicine Students – The Self-Regulated Learning Framework.”
The workshop aimed to equip students with skills to help them manage their learning, budget their time, plan their studies, and track their academic progress, thereby raising their achievement levels and supporting overall academic success.
Dr. Thekra Thabet facilitated the workshop, which drew strong student engagement and interest. Participants expressed clear benefit from the session’s core concepts and practical skills, emphasizing the importance of such activities in helping them structure their education and coursework.
The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine affirmed his support and encouragement for hosting similar workshops and training programs, noting their role in expanding student skill sets, building academic capacity, and establishing more effective learning strategies.
This workshop is part of the faculty’s ongoing commitment to supporting students and fostering their academic, personal, and specialized professional development.
