Seminar Held to Discuss Research Proposal by Ms. Nusaiba Ahmed Ali Zubarah

A seminar was held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, to discuss the research proposal submitted by the student Ms. Nusaiba Ahmed Ali Zubarah for registration in the Master’s program in the Department of Social Work. The proposal is titled:
“Extracurricular Activities and Their Impact on the Academic Achievement of Seventh-Grade Students in the Capital Secretariat (Sana’a): A Study from a Social Work Perspective”
The seminar was attended by:
– Prof. Sukaina Ahmed Hashem – Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs and Head of the Department of Social Work
– Dr. Fahd Al-Ahmadi – Vice Dean for Quality Affairs
– Dr. Ahmed Mutahar – Vice Dean for Graduate Studies
– Dr. Suhair Atef – Main Supervisor of the Thesis
– Dr. Mohammed Al-Attab – Head of Faculty Examinations, and a number of faculty members from the Department of Social Work and other departments of the Faculty.
Ms. Zubarah presented her research proposal and its contents. Following the presentation, a productive discussion took place among the attending professors. The presentation was beneficial for the candidate, the researchers and students in the field who were present.
The proposal was approved with a recommendation to implement the revisions suggested by the discussion committee.
