Research Proposal (Seminar) Presented by Mr. Mohammed Al-Quhaiza, Department of History and International Relations

Sana’a, Yemen – On Tuesday, Muharram 27, 1447 Hijri, corresponding to July 22, 2025, the Department of History and International Relations at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities hosted a successful research proposal seminar. The seminar highlighted the research proposal of Mr. Mohammed Saif Al-Quhaiza, who presented his plan for a study titled: “Academic Life in Dhamar from the Fourth to the Seventh Century Hijri, and from the Tenth to the Thirteenth Century AD.”
The research plan was presented under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed Abdo Al-Surouri. The seminar was well-attended by prominent faculty members, including:
• Prof. Abdulhakim Al-Hejri, Head of the Department of History and International Relations
• Prof. Radwan Al-Laith
• Prof. Mahmoud Al-Sha’abi
• Prof. Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith
• Dr. Ali Al-Ashbat
• Dr. Mustafa Ghashim
• Dr. Ahmed Mutahar
• Dr. Mutahar Al-Jabal
Also in attendance were a number of postgraduate students from the department and various interested individuals.
Following Mr. Al-Quhaiza’s presentation of his research outline, it was thoroughly discussed by the attending departmental members. The research plan proposal was subsequently approved
