Department of Social Work at Sana’a University Discusses Master’s Thesis Proposal for Researcher Thoraya Al-Rajawi

SANA’A— Department of Social Work at Faculty of Arts, Sana’a University, held a seminar session to discuss the Master’s thesis proposal presented by researcher Thoraya Khaled Ahmed Al-Rajawi. The study is titled: “Social Planning and its Impact on the Professional Performance of Social Workers in Childcare Institutions: A Field Study on the Capital Secretariat-Sana’a.” The research is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Sokeina Ahmed Hashem, Head of the Social Work Department.
The proposal viva voce committee comprised:
• Assoc. Prof. Sokeina Ahmed Hashem
• Dr. Fahd Al-Ahmadi
• Dr. Amin Dabwan
• Mr. Talaat Hassan
The researcher outlined the study’s objectives, significance, methodology, theoretical and conceptual frameworks, alongside the proposed hypotheses and analytical tools. The committee provided scientific feedback and directions aimed at refining the research plan.
At the conclusion of the session, the committee approved the thesis proposal, commending the importance of the topic and the researcher’s efforts. The seminar was attended by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, alongside faculty members and graduate students.
