The dissertation aimed to examine the nature of the relationship between psychological immunity, self-efficacy, and general health among personnel of the Ministry of Interior.
The findings revealed that both psychological immunity and self-efficacy were at high levels, whereas general health was at a moderate level. The study also found a positive statistically significant correlation between psychological immunity and self-efficacy, indicating that higher levels of psychological immunity are associated with higher levels of self-efficacy among Ministry of Interior personnel. In addition, statistically significant positive correlations were found among all the study variables.
The study recommended that the Ministry of Interior design and implement structured psychological counseling and guidance programs to strengthen personnel’s coping and adaptation skills, with particular emphasis on problem-solving and stress management. It also recommended establishing psychological counseling and occupational support units staffed by mental health specialists to provide psychological support and crisis intervention. In addition, the study emphasized implementing awareness programs that promote mental and physical well-being and encourage healthy lifestyle practices.
The dissertation defense was attended by a number of academics, postgraduate students, researchers, as well as the researcher’s colleagues and family members.
