  • In 2003, he was appointed Vice Dean of the College of Arts for Student Affairs and served as Vice Dean until 2006.

  • Member of the Association of Yemeni Intellectuals on (Dialogue Among Civilizations).

  • He was appointed on Rabi’ al-Awwal 28, 1431 AH, corresponding to March 14, 2010 AD, as Head of Control at the College of Arts and Humanities, pursuant to University President’s Decision No. (189) of 2010 AD.

  •  He was appointed on Dhul-Qi’dah 25, 1431 AH, corresponding to November 2, 2010 AD, as Deputy Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities, by University President’s Decision No. 687 of 2010 AD.

  • He was appointed on the 14th of Rabi Akhir, corresponding to March 18, 2012 AD, as Dean of the College of Arts and Human Sciences by University President’s Decision No. 192 of 2012 AD, and he held the position until January 2016.
