An academic and spiritual department seeking to prepare specialized cadres in the recitation, memorization, and sciences of the Holy Quran. It aims to empower students with effective teaching methods, connect them to the Book of Allah in memorization and belief, and develop the academic field through scientific research in Quranic studies to serve the community and address its issues.
To achieve local and regional excellence in teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences, and preparing a Quranic generation that contributes to consolidating Islamic values through contemporary educational methods.
The Department of Qur'an and its Sciences seeks to prepare academically and pedagogically qualified personnel distinguished by their teaching skills and creative abilities, capable of competing in the local and regional job market, and to prepare researchers in the field of Qur'an and its sciences, through distinguished faculty members and curricula described and accredited according to quality standards and academic accreditation.
1. Preparing qualified and specialized personnel in the field of Qur'an, its sciences, and teaching methods, capable of practicing life and advancing the nation according to the teachings of the Holy Qur'an, and capable of competing in the job market.
2. Connecting students to the Book of God through recitation, memorization, belief, speech, and action.
3. Demonstrating the greatness of the Holy Qur'an through conducting scientific research and studies related to the Qur'an and its sciences.
4. Developing the academic, educational, and professional field for understanding and teaching the Holy Qur'an and its sciences through conducting specialized scientific research and studies.
5. Contributing to serving the community and solving its problems through lectures, seminars, and scientific conferences.
6. Providing legal, scientific, educational, and research consultations in the field of the Holy Quran, its sciences, and teaching methods.
7. Achieving scientific and creative excellence in all fields of the Quran and its sciences by exploring modern curricula in education and knowledge and utilizing them in the service of scientific truth.
