The Department of History is dedicated to studying and analyzing historical events and preparing qualified history teachers. It contributes to strengthening national identity and fostering an understanding of international relations.
The History Program aspires to prepare distinguished professionals in the fields of teaching and capacity building in history for the basic and secondary education stages.
The Department of History works on graduating History teachers for secondary and intermediate levels.
1. Pre-service training history studies teachers for the secondary stage.
2. Developing postgraduate programs (Master’s and PhD) in line with recognized Arab and international standards.
3. Contributing the development of the quality assurance system in academic and administrative aspects.
4. Acquiring students knowledge and skills that enable them to perform their work efficiently and competently after graduation.
5. Empowering students to employ teaching methods and educational media in diverse educational situations.
