Mission

The Department of Qur’an and its Sciences seeks to prepare academically and educationally qualified cadres distinguished by their teaching skills and creative abilities, capable of competing in the local and global labor market, and to train researchers in the field of the Qur’an and its sciences through distinguished faculty members and accredited academic programs based on quality and academic accreditation standards.

Aims

1. Preparing qualified and specialized cadres in the field of the Qur’an, its sciences, and teaching methods, capable of engaging in life, uplifting the nation through Qur’anic education, and competing in the labor market.
2. Connecting students with the Book of Allah through recitation, memorization, reflection, and practice.
3. Demonstrating the greatness of the Holy Qur’an through conducting various scientific research and studies related to the Qur’an and its sciences.
4. Developing the academic, educational, and professional fields of understanding and expanding Qur’anic studies and teaching methods through specialized scientific research and studies.
5. Contributing to serving the community and solving its problems through lectures, seminars, and scientific conferences.
6. Providing legal, scientific, educational, and research consultations in the field of the Qur’an, its sciences, and teaching methods.
7. Achieving scientific and creative excellence in all areas of Qur’anic studies by exploring modern educational and knowledge-based curricula and utilizing them in the service of scientific truth.
