The Water and Environment Center (WEC) stands as the premier center for academic inquiry and research in Yemen, dedicated to water and environmental studies. It offers comprehensive and high-quality knowledge with a focus on addressing present and future water issues at local, regional, and global scales.
As the pioneering educational center in the region specializing in water studies, the WEC has embraced the “Integrated Water Resources Management” approach. This method ensures a distinguished methodological framework for obtaining the highest levels of expertise, skills, and knowledge required for the present and future workforce engaged in the water sector. In addition to education and training, the WEC conducts rigorous scientific and applied research, facilitates information dissemination through publication services, and fosters connectivity among specialists.
