CCTLT Continues Mawlid Celebrations with “Open Day” for AB-Level Students.

Saturday, August 22, 2026 (9 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH)

As part of the celebrations marking the Prophet Mohammed’s birthday (Mawlid), the Language Teaching Department at the Community Center for Translation and Language Teaching (CCTLT) of Sana’a University organized an “Open Day” today for female students enrolled in Level Two Beginner (AB), under the supervision of Ms. Al-Khansa Sabr.
The event was attended by Dr. Ibraheem Tagaddeen, Director of the Center, academic specialists from the Language Teaching Department, a number of instructors, and a group of female students. The program featured a variety of activities combining linguistic and educational elements, with the aim of fostering cooperation and interaction among the students and connecting the religious occasion with the educational and language-learning values promoted by the Center.
In his remarks, Dr. Tagaddeen emphasized the Center’s commitment to commemorating religious and national occasions as an integral part of cultural identity and community values. He noted that integrating such occasions into language-learning activities helps develop students’ linguistic skills and encourages them to use the language in real-life, socially relevant contexts. He added that these activities also help reinforce the values of appreciation for the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and following his example in everyday conduct.

The event forms part of a series of activities organized by the Center to commemorate the Prophet Mohammed’s birthday. These activities seek to integrate academic learning with ethical and spiritual values, thereby fostering a positive and engaging educational environment within the Center.
