Council of the Faculty of Dentistry Reviews Preparations for the Upcoming Academic Year and Endorses Updated Curricula

The Council of the Faculty of Dentistry at Sana’a University held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Rami Ishaq, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of the department chairs. The session focused on evaluating the administrative and logistical preparations underway for the upcoming academic year 2026–2027.
The Council initiated its proceedings by reviewing and officially endorsing the newly updated curricula and educational syllabi across all dental departments. This initiative is central to the Faculty’s strategic commitment to modernizing its academic programs, elevating instructional quality, and incorporating contemporary dental advancements to meet rigorous professional standards.
The Dean emphasized the mandatory requirement of executing the approved academic plans with complete fidelity from day one of classes. He stressed the importance of utilizing modern pedagogical methods, advanced clinical simulation systems, and interactive digital media to optimize student learning and enhance the technical competencies of graduates.
Furthermore, Dr. Rami Ishaq highlighted the necessity of maintaining an inspiring, student-centered campus climate and reinforcing effective lines of communication between faculty members and students to realize the institution’s core academic goals. The Council also reviewed various items on its agenda pertaining to undergraduate student affairs and postgraduate dental programs, enacting appropriate regulatory decisions to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
