The Prosthetics & Orthotics Program is one of the departments of the Faculty that was established in order to meet the needs of Yemen in the specialty of Prosthetics & Orthotics. It is known that the Prosthetics & Orthotics Department is one of the branches of medical rehabilitation sciences and its health care professions. The Prosthetics & Orthotics Department uses Selected information and skills in order to develop and apply splints and prosthetics to care for individuals who suffer from an injury, disability, or disease that limits their physical performance or threatens their functional capabilities because of their impact on the skeletal, muscular, or nervous system, with the aim of maintaining or restoring the improvement of the patients’ abilities to their level .
