A Field Visit by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to Oversee the Bachelor’s Exams for Batch 36 (Medicine and Surgery)
Associate Professor Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Shehari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University, conducted a field visit to supervise the progress of the bachelor’s exams for Batch 36 (Medicine and Surgery), which commenced on Saturday, December 21, 2024. The visit included Al-Thawra General Hospital and Kuwait University Hospital.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Shehari met with the following heads of departments:
Prof. Mohammed Issa, Head of the Surgery Department
Prof. Ahmed Qaed, Head of the Internal Medicine Department
Prof. Najla Al-Sanabani, Head of the Pediatrics Department
Prof. Alia Shuaib, Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department
Prof. Abdulmalik Qais, Head of the Radiology Department
He also engaged with the faculty examiners from the departments of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Radiology. Discussions revolved around the students’ circumstances and the main challenges they face, emphasizing the college’s commitment to addressing obstacles. Dr. Al-Shehari expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the faculty members for their substantial efforts in ensuring a smooth and successful examination process, wishing the students every success.
The Minister of Health and Environment, Associate Professor Dr. Ali Abdulkarim Shaiban, from the Internal Medicine Department, graciously participated in the Internal Medicine exam.
This visit provided an opportunity to enhance direct communication between the college administration, faculty members, and students, fostering collaboration and advancing medical education objectives. The Dean also commended the support of the university administration, represented by Professor Dr. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, for their role in backing the college and ensuring the success of this crucial phase.
