Cardiology and Catheterization Center at Kuwait University Hospital organized an extensive scientific meeting
Under the patronage of Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, President of Sana’a University and Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Cardiology and Catheterization Center at Kuwait University Hospital organized an extensive scientific meeting today at the Saba Hotel, accompanied by a collective iftar for cardiologists in Sana’a.
The meeting covered a diverse range of scientific topics, with broad participation from professors and consultants in the fields of cardiology and internal medicine from various centers in Sana’a. The latest developments in cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, lipid disorders, diabetes, and other related scientific topics were discussed.
Graduate students at the center participated in the meeting by presenting several scientific papers.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Hamoud Abbad, the Mayor of the Capital, Prof. Abdul Latif Abu Talib, Vice President of Sana’a University for Medical Colleges and Hospitals Affairs, Prof. Akram Al-Hajj, General Director of Kuwait University Hospital, Dr. Salah Al-Shawki, Director of the Cardiology and Catheterization Center, Dr. Mohammed Al-Houthi, Head of of the Scientific Cardiology Council as well as heads of departments and medical professors from Sana’a University and other government universities.
The scientific program lasted from 1:00 PM until the Maghrib prayer, and witnessed a large attendance of cardiologists in Sana’a
