The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University honored today the members and committees of the University Student Forum. In the honoring ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Khamesy, praised the efforts of the members and scientific committees of the forum at the Faculty of Medicine during the past year, especially in holding activities and initiatives that enhance the spirit of cooperation and benevolence among students and solving the problems they face .
He pointed to the strategic steps through which the Faculty seeks to achieve leadership in the field of medical and health education locally and regionally, as well as seeking to obtain international accreditation in the medical field .
Dr. Al-Khamesy stressed the Faculty’s keenness to graduate qualified cadres who have the knowledge and skills that keep pace with the needs of society and are committed to the ethics of the profession that enable them to work in various fields of primary health care and compete locally and internationally .
He touched on the advantages enjoyed by the Faculty of Medicine at Sana’a University through providing a creative educational and research environment. Noting that the Faculty is about to open a clinical skills laboratory for medical students next week .
In the event, which was attended by the deans of the Faculty, the secretary general of the Faculty, and the academic and administrative staff, the vice president of the University Student Forum at the Faculty of Medicine, Asim Al-Salahi, pointed out the importance of honoring the members and committees of the forum for their role in encouraging university students and adopting their issues through scientific, cultural and sports programs, activities and competitions. He stressed that the forum seeks to consolidate the values of national loyalty among students and strengthen fraternal ties between students and faculty members and encourage them to engage in various activities. The event included segments, poems, and honoring the deanship, employees and administrators of the Faculty, and members and committees of the University Student Forum at the Faculty of Medicine with shields and certificates of appreciation .
