Scientific meeting at the Cardiology Centre, Kuwait University Hospital
Under the patronage of the President of Sana’a University, Dr. Al-Qasm Abbas, a scientific meeting on heart and kidney diseases was held on Thursday at the Heart and Catheterization Center of Kuwait University Hospital, in coordination with the professors of Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine, Sana’a University. The meeting was attended by the General Manager of Kuwait University Hospital, Dr. Akram Al-Hajj.
The meeting discussed the modern methods of diagnosing and treating heart and kidney diseases, as well as the use of heart medications in patients with renal insufficiency.
These scientific meetings are part of the continuous medical education activities of the Heart and Catheterization Center at Kuwait University Hospital.
The meeting was attended by professors of cardiology, nephrology, and internal medicine from various hospitals in the capital, Sana’a. These included Dr. Khaled Al-Aghbari, Professor of Internal Medicine at Sana’a University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Houthi, Professor of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Salah Al-Shawki, Director of the Heart and Catheterization Center, and Dr. Sadeq Al-Jabri, Professor of Nephrology at Sana’a University.
It is worth mentioning that the scientific activities organized by the center take place every Thursday and focus on studying critical cases, enhancing knowledge and skills, and exchanging them among specialists, with the active participation of postgraduate students in the field.
