Signing of the Agreement for the Establishment of the Center for Physical Therapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics at the Faculty

In a move aimed at enhancing cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University and the International Committee of the Red Cross, a cooperation agreement was signed this morning to establish a specialized center for Physical therapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics This took place during a meeting between the Dean of the Faculty, Dr Khaled Saad Al-Khamesy, and Ms. Linda Fantinani, Coordinator of the Water and Housing Program at the International Committee of the Red Cross.
During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of the center in meeting the needs of the local community and enhancing rehabilitation efforts for patients and the injured. He also pointed out that the project would provide practical training opportunities for students, contributing to the development of their skills and preparing them for the job market.
For her part, Ms. Fantinani expressed her appreciation for the Faculty’s efforts in this area and confirmed the International Committee of the Red Cross’s readiness to support the project by providing the necessary technical expertise and resources.
This meeting reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University to social responsibility and enhances its role as a leading educational institution striving to provide distinguished health services that meet community needs.
