The Regular Meeting of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Council at Sana’a University
On Monday morning, the regular meeting of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Council at Sana’a University was held, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty and Chair of the Council, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shehari. The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Medical Colleges Affairs, Prof. Abdul Latif Abu Talib; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Walid Al-Makhlafi; the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Abdul Wahab Al-Mutahhar; the Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, Prof. Ahmed Al-Mujahid; and the heads of departments within the Faculty.
This meeting was conducted as part of the Faculty’s efforts to enhance academic performance.
During the meeting, various academic issues of concern to students and faculty members were discussed. The challenges facing the educational process at the Faculty were addressed, with efforts made to develop suitable solutions.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of advancing scientific research within the Faculty. Several research plans for master’s and doctoral degrees across different specializations were approved, along with the allocation of necessary support for students to achieve better outcomes in their research.
The meeting concluded with the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shahari, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the regulations and ensuring coordination among different departments. He stressed the need to create an exceptional educational environment that fosters student success and ensures the Faculty’s vision of delivering high-quality education aligned with global academic accreditation standards.
