In a step aimed at enhancing academic and research cooperation in the field of medicine, the President of Sana’a University, Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine held an important meeting with the President and members of the Yemeni Doctors Association in Germany via Zoom technology.
The meeting focused on a range of important issues, including the development and enhancement of academic programs, exchange of expertise and knowledge between the university and the Yemeni Doctors Association in Germany. Emphasis was placed on the importance of exchanging experiences and developing joint training programs and scientific workshops to enable students and researchers to leverage shared experiences and knowledge.
In the context of promoting scientific research, opportunities for conducting collaborative research in various medical fields were discussed, as well as the exchange of research findings and experiences to enhance scientific knowledge and innovation in medical domains.
The Yemeni Doctors Association in Germany affirmed its readiness to provide support and advice to Yemeni students and researchers who wish to obtain academic degrees in the field of medicine in Germany, and to facilitate administrative and qualification procedures for them to develop their academic and scientific capabilities.
At the end of the meeting, the importance of organizing medical camps and joint health events between the university and the Yemeni Doctors Association in Germany was emphasized, with the aim of providing healthcare to local communities and exchanging expertise and knowledge in this field.
This meeting comes as part of the university’s efforts to enhance international cooperation and academic accreditation, and to open new horizons for collaboration with universities around the world, thereby enhancing the performance and excellence of graduates and contributing to the development of the healthcare sector in Yemen.
