Workshop to approve the description of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program

Today, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Sana’a University organized a workshop to approve the specifications for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program .
At the opening, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university, Dr. Khaled Al-Khamesy, confirmed that Sana’a University, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, seeks to achieve leadership in the field of medical and health education locally, regionally and internationally and to obtain international accreditation in the medical field .
The dean pointed out the Faculty’s keenness to prepare qualified graduates who have the knowledge and skills that keep pace with the needs of society and are committed to professional ethics that enable them to be able to work in various fields of primary health care and compete locally and internationally .
Dr. Khaled Al- Sayani, the program supervisor at the Faculty, provided an explanation of the program and the study plan, and a discussion took place among the attendees about the program, its goals and outcomes .
At the end of the workshop, several important recommendations were reached aimed at enhancing the quality of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program and aligning it with the needs of the labor market .
The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Saleh Bahaj – Member of the Faculty’s steering committee, Prof. Dr. Mojahed Al-Shaabi, Deputy Dean for Quality Affairs, the representative of the Yemeni Physiotherapy Association, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Rifai, and the department’s doctors and teaching assistants .
