Sana’a University’s Faculty of Languages Honors Student Excellence in Extra-Curricular Activities

SANA’A – On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the Faculty of Languages at Sana’a University held a special ceremony to honor students for their outstanding contributions to student activities and academic committees. The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Faculty Dean, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Nasser, in collaboration with the Student Forum.

The ceremony, hosted at the Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh Hall, highlights the Faculty’s commitment to fostering a vibrant student life and recognizing the vital role students play in the university’s academic and cultural development.

The event honored members of the Student Forum, class representatives from various departments, and members of scientific committees. These awards recognize their proactive efforts in ensuring the success of student-led initiatives and scientific programs that enhance the overall learning environment.

The ceremony was attended by a large assembly of students from across the faculty’s disciplines as well as several faculty leaders, including:

• Mujahed Abdullah Al-Sabri, Vice Dean for Student Affairs.
• Prof. Mujeeb Ali Qasim, Head of the Translation Department.

During the event, attendees praised the honored students as role models who reflect the values of responsibility and teamwork.
