University President Visits Faculty of Sharia and Law and Commends Faculty Role in Promoting Rule of Law

Prof. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, President of the University, affirmed that the Faculty of Sharia and Law is one of Yemen’s key academic and research pillars, given its vital role in preparing and qualifying academic and professional cadres capable of serving the judicial system and promoting the rule of law.
He made these remarks during his inspection visit to the Faculty, where he was received by the Dean, Dr. Mohammed Saad Najad, the Vice Deans, the Faculty Secretary, and a number of faculty members and administrative staff, who welcomed the President and expressed their appreciation for his continued support.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti was briefed in detail on the progress of the educational process, ongoing development projects, the Faculty’s key needs, and its future plans. He also inspected maintenance and rehabilitation projects and reviewed the efforts made to strengthen infrastructure and improve the learning environment.
Prof. Al-Bukhaiti stressed that these efforts are part of Sana’a University’s comprehensive strategy to enhance academic performance across all faculties and scientific and research centers. He noted that the Faculty of Sharia and Law, with its qualified academic staff and extensive experience in legal and Sharia education, is among the leading higher education institutions that supply society with highly competent graduates capable of contributing to the achievement of justice and the development of legislation.
He further emphasized the University’s commitment to providing continuous support to the Faculty, as it does for all other faculties and scientific centers, through the provision of necessary resources, the development of curricula, and the modernization of teaching methods, in line with contemporary requirements and in a manner that enhances the competitiveness of graduates in local and regional labor markets.
The University President concluded by underscoring that the development of Sharia and Law Faculty, alongside other faculties and centers, falls within the University’s vision of building an integrated educational environment capable of producing academically and professionally qualified generations who contribute to serving the community and building Yemen’s future on the foundations of justice and sustainable development.
