Ibrahim Mohammed Hussein  Alsharafi  Associate Professor, College of Sharia and Law, Department of Advocacy , Holds a doctorate degree from Cairo University in the year 1990, Professor of pleading and execution at Sana’a University, Head of the pleadings department at the University of Sanaa and vice-dean of the College of Sharia and Law in multiple terms previously, An expert worked for the Justice and Endowments Committee in the House of Representatives in preparing bills for several laws , He has  supervised and discussed several research papers and dissertations for graduate students in a number of different universities and academies , He has several scientific researches, studies and literature in the field of specialization (Sharia and Law).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law – Sana’a University – in 1980 – with a general grade of distinction with first class honors.
  • Master in Private Law and Islamic Sharia – Faculty of Law – Cairo University – in 1983 AD – with a general grade of good //.
  • Doctorate in Law – Faculty of Law, Cairo University – 1990 AD – with a grade of “very good”.

Experience:

  • Appointed as an assistant professor in the pleadings department at the College of Sharia and Law – Sana’a University in the year 1991.
  • Head of the Advocacy Department at the University of Sanaa during the periods (1991 – 1994) and (1997 – 2000).
  • Acting Head of the Department of Private International Law from the year 1992 until 1994.
  • Vice Dean at the College of Sharia and Law, Sana’a University, during the periods (1994-1997) and (2001-2006)
  • Lecturer of pleadings at the College of Sharia and Law, Sana’a University, and the Police Academy, from 1991 until 2016.

ConferencesandWorkshops:

  • He has participated in preparing and amending the pleadings law as a consultant in the Justice and Endowments Committee in the House of Representatives for a period of three years until it was promulgated in 2002 and amending some of its articles in 2010.
  • He has participated in preparing draft amendments to the Criminal Procedures Law, Judicial Authority Law, Arbitration Law, Judicial Fees and Documentation Law, in the aforementioned committee in the House of Representatives.
  • He has supervised many scientific researches in postgraduate studies at the Police Academy (currently the College of Graduate Studies in the Police Academy).
  • He hasparticipated in the discussion of several MA theses in each of the Universities of Sana’a and Aden.
