Sana’a University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Hosts Intensive PCR Workshop for Agriculture Seniors

SANA’A – As part of a strategic initiative to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Sana’a University concluded an intensive two-day training workshop on Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technology for senior students from the Faculty of Agriculture.
The program was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and laboratory practice, ensuring that graduating students are equipped with the advanced technical skills necessary for modern scientific research and the professional workforce.
Under the supervision of the Faculty’s Dean and the Office of Quality Assurance, Dr. Sondos Anam led the comprehensive training sessions. The curriculum provided a deep dive into both the theoretical framework and practical applications of PCR technology.
The workshop featured direct practical applications, allowing students to engage with specialized equipment and master the essential steps of genetic amplification and analysis.
This initiative reflects the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s commitment to academic integration and knowledge exchange across Sana’a University’s various departments.
