The main task:

1) Verifying the raising of capacity-building in the field of water management and advocacy.

o Building the capacity of seven water specialized committees in the villages benefiting from the cisterns.

2) Verifying the current condition of the cisterns rehabilitated.

o Rehabilitation of seven cisterns in seven villages inhabited by 260 families.

o Are the targeted cisterns primarily serving the purpose of household water supply?

o Medium size cisterns (about125 m3)

o Owned, shared and used by families (rather than being owned by one family).

3) Verifying that the displaced families benefit from rainwater harvesting systems for:

o Providing 100 families with rainwater harvesting systems.

o Targeting 100 families with rainwater harvesting systems (50 displaced families, 25 families headed by a woman and 25 families who are headed by or have a person with special needs or chronic diseases).

4) Verifying implementation of project activities according to the five DAC – OECD criteria (relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability).
