Doctoral Dissertation Defense Held for Faculty Member at King Saud University

SANA’A (April 27, 2025) – Department of Agricultural Engineering and Modern Technologies today, Sunday, April 27, 2025, held PhD. dissertation hearing of Mr. Muaath Badr Abdo Othman, a delegate from Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment to King Saud University. His dissertation is titled: “Mathematical Modeling of Sous Vide and Modified Ohmic Cooking Methods and Their Effect on the Quality Characteristics of Arabian Camel Meat.”
The PhD session was attended by:
– Assoc. Prof. Adel Al-Weshli, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment.
– Prof. Ali Al-Azaki, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
– Prof. Abdulmajeed Bajash, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs.
– Dr. Amer Ali Mahdi, Vice Dean for Student Affairs.
– Dr. Yahya Al-Jorob, Head of Examinations.
In addition, several faculty members from Department of Agricultural Engineering and Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment attended the session.
During the PhD session, the researcher presented a detailed scientific presentation covering the study’s objectives, research methodology, and key findings. He also clarified the various effects of the two cooking methods on the quality of Arabian camel meat.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Mr. Muaath Badr Abdo Othman expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Sana’a University, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, and Department of Agricultural Engineering for their support and for granting him the opportunity to complete his doctoral studies.
The committee commended the significant scientific effort and the distinguished academic level demonstrated in the dissertation and the presentation. They wished him further success in his academic and research endeavors.
