Sana’a, Yemen – 30 July 2025
Department of Horticulture and Its Techniques at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, Sana’a University, held a public seminar for the MA thesis proposal of Mr. Mohammed Yahya Abdulrahman Humaid. on Wednesday, Safar 5, 1447 Hijri, corresponding to July 30, 2025. This session was the second official seminar (Seminar 2) presented by the candidate for his MA thesis proposal, entitled “The Impact of Phosphorous and Potassium Fertilizers on the Growth and productivity of Beans (Phaseolus vulgaris)
” which is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Mahasen Al-Munibari (main supervisor) and Assoc. Prof. Essam Al-Madhaji (Co-supervisor).
During the session, the researcher presented the key findings of his preliminary work. He outlined the study’s objectives, significance, methodology, theoretical and conceptual framework, proposed hypotheses, and the analytical tools he plans to use.
Following a comprehensive discussion, departmental members praised the researcher’s scientific efforts and emphasized the importance of the thesis topic in boosting productivity within Yemen’s agricultural sector.
The seminar session was attended by interested faculty members and postgraduate students from the department.
