Sana’a, Yemen – 29 July 2025
Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, Sana’a University, held a public seminar for the MA thesis proposal of Ms. Salwa Ahmed Al-Zuhari on Tuesday, Safar 4, 1447 Hijri, corresponding to July 29, 2025. This session was the first official seminar presented by the candidate for her MA thesis proposal, entitled “Assessment of Quality and Safety Indicators of Traditional Baked Products in Yemeni Communities,” which is supervised by Prof. Abduljalil Derham.
During the session, the researcher presented the key findings of her preliminary work, outlining the study’s objectives, significance, methodology, theoretical and conceptual framework, proposed hypotheses, and analytical tools to be employed.
Following an extensive discussion, departmental members commended the researcher’s scientific efforts and highlighted the importance of the thesis topic in supporting productivity within Yemen’s agricultural sector.
The seminar was attended by interested faculty members and postgraduate students from the department.
