The visit aimed to strengthen applied learning by connecting theoretical knowledge with practical agricultural practices.
Eng. Hemyar Haissam welcomed the students and gave them an overview of the nursery’s operational systems. He covered irrigation methods (drip and sprinkler), plant pest and disease management, propagation techniques, and integrated farming practices in both protected and open environments.
This field trip gave students direct exposure to modern agricultural production systems, which enhanced their understanding of the current challenges and opportunities in the sector. The Faculty expressed its gratitude to Eng. Haissam for his cooperation and reiterated its commitment to organizing similar activities that prepare students for professional careers in agriculture.
