This training is an integral part of the course’s practical curriculum, aiming to enhance students’ applied skills and effectively link theoretical concepts to practical agricultural realities.
Key Training Activities
The session included:
– Identifying the properties of various growth media (substrates), such as peat moss, perlite, sand, and organic soil.
– Applying the methodical steps required for preparing plant cuttings in accordance with scientific standards for plant propagation.
The supervising instructors praised the students’ level of engagement and seriousness, emphasizing that such activities are crucial for preparing qualified staff in the fields of horticulture and agricultural sciences.
This hands-on training marks a significant step toward empowering students to practice plant propagation techniques, ultimately contributing to agricultural sustainability through the production of healthy and high-quality seedlings..
