Fourth-level students in the Animal Production Department successfully completed an outstanding practical project for the “Animal Production Farms” course. The project involved creating a comprehensive design for a poultry farm, aiming to enhance practical understanding and connect theoretical concepts with real-world application.
The project focused on teaching students how to design poultry farms based on scientific principles. Students identified the types of buildings and essential facilities within the farm, such as:
– Breeding houses (barns)
– Ventilation units
– Storage facilities
– Feeding areas
Crucially, the activity emphasized the spatial distribution of these components to achieve optimal operational efficiency and maintain biosecurity.
Through this exercise, the students demonstrated their ability to transform theoretical knowledge into practical, executable designs, while also considering environmental and economic factors. This reflects their readiness for the job market in the animal production sector.
This activity is part of a series of educational programs designed to prepare qualified professionals capable of innovation and planning within the livestock sector.
