In an effort to enhance practical skills and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world application, third-level students from the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Modern Technologies conducted a field training activity at the educational farm affiliated with Sana’a University’s Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment.
This activity aimed to train students in the field of biogas systems and modern technologies (gas production from organic waste) used in both the agricultural and industrial sectors. The training program included comprehensive instruction on conducting technical calculations, as well as designing, operating, and maintaining these systems. This initiative ensures the curriculum meets market demands and strengthens students’ readiness to face the challenges of fieldwork.
This program is part of the Department’s vision to graduate engineers who possess the technical competency and ability to utilize clean energy in developing agricultural production and achieving environmental sustainability.
The activity focused on applying both Chinese and Indian Biogas Systems and was supervised by:
Dr. Sulaiman Sahari
Eng. Ahmed Al-Ghaithi
