As part of its efforts to strengthen practical learning and link theoretical concepts with real-world applications, the Faculty of Agriculture organized a field visit for third-level students specializing in Animal Production to the Faculty Farm, within the requirements of the Animal Reproductive Physiology course.
The visit aimed to introduce students to the tools and techniques of artificial insemination. They were briefed on the components of equipment used for semen collection, methods of preservation, insemination procedures, as well as the health measures and modern techniques adopted to ensure the success of the process.
This field experience provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the farm environment, reinforcing the scientific concepts acquired in classrooms and developing the practical skills necessary in the field of animal production.
The visit forms part of a series of training activities regularly organized by the Faculty, reflecting its commitment to preparing qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with advancements in animal production and reproductive technologies
