Sana’a University President Inspects Laboratories of the Central Laboratory Center at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment

Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bukhaiti, Rector of Sana’a University, inspected the laboratories of the Central Laboratory Center at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, as part of the University’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of scientific research and activate its role in serving the community.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Bukhaiti reviewed the progress of infrastructure development at the Center and listened to a detailed briefing on the central laboratory and the technical and scientific equipment currently being completed in preparation for its operation in the near future. This is expected to contribute to serving researchers and postgraduate students, as well as meeting the needs of governmental and private institutions for laboratory tests and analyses with high accuracy and quality.
The University Rector emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to complete the installation of laboratory equipment, provide operational materials, and qualify competent technical staff, in addition to developing an effective administrative mechanism to ensure the achievement of the Center’s scientific and research objectives.
The Rector was received by Dr. Adel Al-Washali, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment; Dr. Mansour Al-Dhubhani, Director of the Central Laboratory Center; Dr. Mohammed Qusaila, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Adel Rawei’, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; and Dr. Taha Al-Weshali, Director of the Water and Environment Center. Also present were members of the University’s Committee for the Evaluation of Workshops, Laboratories, and Research Facilities, vice deans of the faculties, along with several faculty members and administrative staff.
