Department of Library Science Hosts Online Lecture on AI in Academic Research

The Department of Library and Information Science at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Sana’a University, hosted an online lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence and Its Use in Scientific Research: Library and Information Science as a Model” on Monday, August 3, 2026.
Guest speaker Prof. Amani Mujahed, Chair of the Department of Library and Information Science at Menoufia University (Egypt), addressed faculty, researchers, and students on generative AI, ethical standards, AI detection tools, and research applications.
Dr. Mujahed highlighted the importance of academic collaboration between Sana’a University and Menoufia University. Lecture coordinator Dr. Rajeha Rajeh concluded the event by thanking university leadership, department officials, administrative staff, and Dr. Mujahed for facilitating an insightful session.
