Mission

Providing distinguish academic and research programs in cybersecurity and digital forensics issues through providing an appropriate motivated education environment for creative thinking and scientific research excellence according to accreditation standards to meet the needs of the local and regional labor market.

 Objectives of Cybersecurity  Department:

  • Providing academic programs with high quality that meet the needs of the local and regional labor market in cybersecurity and digital forensics disciplines.
  • Providing an appropriate and stimulated (motivated) learning environment for creativity, innovation and research excellence.
  • Preparing graduates with knowledge, intellectual and general skills for future careers in cybersecurity and digital forensics issues to be active and responsible members of society.
  • Developing the students and academic staff capabilities for self-learning, effective communication, and teamwork, taking into account the ethics of the profession.
  • Encouraging faculty members and involve students in projects/scientific research in cybersecurity.
  • Providing scientific and technical consulting, and participating in training technical cadres to secure the various sectors.

Cybersecurity Program Mission:

Preparing students with knowledge, skills, values and competitive capabilities to contribute in developing and protecting of the cybersecurity community to meet the needs of the local and regional labour market through providing an appropriate educational environment.

Cybersecurity Program Objectives:

  • Providing the students with theoretical concepts, intellectual skills, values and practical applications in the field of cybersecurity.
  • Acquiring students’ skills, tools and techniques for analyzing, designing, implementing and evaluating computing-based systems secure.
  • Preparing specialized cadres capable of competing for future careers in the field of cybersecurity that meet the needs of the local and regional labor market.
  • Developing graduates’ skills in communication and working within a team or an individually, and encourage them to creative thinking and lifelong learning to be active and responsible in cybersecurity.
